About us
Established as Direct Marketing & Advertising in 1994 we quickly became a market leader in the provision of innovative, free-of-charge, marketing publications for solicitors, estate agents and football clubs throughout the UK. During this period, we identified a need for freely available, commercially funded carrier bags in golf clubs and leisure centres.
In 1997, as our products and reputation grew we added the Library Book Carrier to our portfolio. These can still be found in many libraries throughout the UK. Thereafter followed a period of rapid growth as a result of which the limited company, Direct Marketing Scotland Ltd was formed in December 2000.
In December 2008, due to environmental issues we saw the demand for our core product - polythene carrier bags - reduced dramatically, we therefore downsized, relocated and re-branded and now trade as JMC Marketing Ltd.
Whilst the supply of these free-of-charge marketing products still remain a feature of our business, we have continued to expand our creative design studio and our marketing campaign consultancy services, thereby enabling us to offer our clients a one-stop shop for all their marketing and advertising needs.
More recently we have become a market leader in the supply of eco friendly natural jute, cotton and canvas bags. After a visit by our MD to India in January 2008 a partnership with a family run business based in Kolkata was agreed, they now supply us with a wide range of highest quality jute, cotton and canvas bags, manufactured in their modern factory which meets with all our ethical requirements.
We are a family run business, our skilled telesales team, administrative and graphic design team work from modern spacious offices and make use of state-of-the-art IT and communication equipment.
